All that day, good things kept happening to the boys, due to their newfound strength. Toxsa mastered gym class, tamed the school's wild boar mascot, saved some boys from being stuck on the head by a falling potted plant, and saved Ms. Finwick from falling and losing her books, while Ceylan saved a girl from falling down the stairs and mastered soccer.
While on Quarton, the four waited for the Corrupted to make a move and begin to grow impatient. When Vilius's forces due arrive, Beag readies to fight off the Corrupted but stands down when the Knights claim they can handle Vilius and his men. Despite their newfound skill and strength, the four were no match for Vilius. When they transform into the Protojet, Vilius lead their attack straight toward the Corekai camp. Despite the Knights actions costing them there camp, Beag lead the Corekai in defending the four before Vilius delivered the finishing blow. Many Corekai were lost before Vilius grew bored and ordered his forces to fall back.
Back on Earth, the boys were stunned and ashamed that their pride and vanity cost the Corekai so much and vowed to never let it happen again.
