Looking Forward, Looking Back is an english-exclusive special episode of Tenkai Knights. It first aired on May 25, 2014 on Teletoon in Canada

Content[]

Summary[]

Tenkai Knights look back at their past battles and fights, to try and think of a way to open the Tenkai Fortress.

Plot[]

Trivia[]

In the episode[]

  • This is the first time since the Knights activated their Elemental Modes that we see Dromus, and in Titan Mode. Dromus has not activated his Elemental Mode, for both his normal form and titan form still retain their old looks.
  • It is revealed that every battle is stored in the Tenkai Knights' core bricks.
  • Valorn activating tenkai titan mode was not shown in the theater.

Background[]

  • Until its debut, this episode originally went by the title "Dragon".
  • This episode doesn't exist in the Japanese dub and isn't even released on DVD.
  • If so, it is an extremely rare occurance that an episode isn't even released on DVD. This could suggest that this episode wasn't even produced in Japan, but could consist entirely of re-used and re-dubbed material from earlier episodes. Also the fact that originally an episode named "Dragon" which later became the thirty-ninth episode as Dragon² was announced, suggests that.

English Dub Cuts & Changes[]

  • This episode is entirely made of scenes from previous episodes. It only exists in the dub version and does not air in Japan. Instead, Dragon² airs after episode 37, making it episode 38.

Errors[]

  • When Vilius and Granox look back at certain events, Vilius is in his first form from the first twenty-six episodes and his fortress is exactly the same before he took control over the Guardians.
  • Guren's core brick is white instead of red.

Characters[]

Note: All characters are listed in order of their first appearances in the episode. The time they appear is the time from the Japanese dub.
