Throughout the show, many characters have flashbacks (Japanese: フラッシュバック, Furasshu Bakku) at various places. Flashbacks can be shown to portray one's past, remember something that could be used to solve a problem, look at what the character is thinking about, or be presented to prove a point on a certain topic.
